Obviously it's because there is nothing to read. I need to accept that I am not someone who's going to be posting anything regularly. There's just simply not going to be any routine that's going to get that going. 2020 feels like just a lost year for me. Being in a partial lock-down for more than 2 months due to COVID-19 and staying at home most of the time has left me aimless and confused. More confused that I was previously. Certainly not good for my mental well-being. My motto has been always to look forward and give yourself something to look forward to. It feels like that has been taken away from me somewhat. I started training for the StanChart KL Marathon early on and was happy with my consistency and progress. And then the race got cancelled. This was supposed to be the year I ran the full marathon again. Not to be. So now, here I am. Feeling flat and maybe getting depressed. I pray that I'll get out of this soon.

I started a new job with Geeks On Tap in January this year. We're a Google partner. And I thought, what an odd name. But yes, these guys are geeks, indeed! G Suite and Google Cloud Platform are the first things I'm learning about, but when it comes to hardware, I've started using a Chromebook for the very first time. The one I'm working on right now is the Acer Chromebook 14. Works great! No more frustrations about having to download antivirus updates or Windows updates. It would be exciting to work on a Google Jamboard, which I would consider a state-of-the-art smart board with 4K touch display, multi-party collaboration capabilities and the works. Yes, I am alive. No, I haven't posted since November. I have been taking a lot less pictures and doing a lot more running, which is what I am somewhat crazy about. Taking up the challenge for long distance, to go farther and faster.

I think Mid-Valley had one of the best Christmas decorations compared with the other shopping centres I've visited in the last few weeks. The theme was "Fun-toys-tic" Christmas, and they had the mall decorated with super large teddy bears, toy soldiers, hot-air balloons and the sort. It was certainly more creative and fun in comparison to the Suria KLCC, Pavilion or 1Utama shopping centres. The main complaint you could have about Mid-Valley is getting in and out. Because of the huge amount of traffic, you'll find parking a real challenge during peak hours, especially during the school holiday.

A walk back to the KLCC car park allowed me a quick opportunity to snap one of the tallest buildings in the world. I thought I needed a tripod, but since I didn't have one, I tried to keep steady. Would have tried to lower the ISO settings, though. This was taken at ISO1600.

Anchovies. Reminds me of Domino's. Swordfish. Quite a number of them here. Jellyfish in abundance. Glad I could shoot this with the 300mm. The guy at the back of the boat seems so relaxed. The challenge in taking pictures of things that emit light is the metering and exposure settings. These lights in the resort are beautifully designed and elegant.
