Final Pictures For Pangkor Laut

Anchovies. Reminds me of Domino's. Swordfish. Quite a number of them here. Jellyfish in abundance. Glad I could shoot this with the 300mm. The guy at the back of the boat seems so relaxed. The challenge in taking pictures of things that emit light is the metering and exposure settings. These lights in the resort are beautifully designed and elegant.

Pangkor Laut Resort - a little more

I can't remember what the name of this dish is, but it was delicious. Does it look it? We ate & ate. There is more than one swimming pool at Pangkor Laut Resort. The swimming pool looks more inviting that the salty sea water, by the looks of it.

Pangkor Laut Resort

These water chalets are luxurious and certainly comfortable. I didn't stay in one, though. This is where the boats come in (and depart) at Pangkor Laut Resort. A good first impression goes a long way when you visit a place for the first time. And the rest of the resort did not disappoint.

Pulau Pangkor

This will be the first of a few pictures taken in Pangkor that I'd like to post. Many are familiar with Pulau Pangkor (Pangkor Island) as a popular tourist spot for Malaysians as well as foreign tourists, but few know Pangkor Laut Resort. It is an exclusive resort on its own island, and the resort is elegantly designed and well maintained. The picture above is taken in Uncle Lim's restaurant, and the site is built around its natural elements, i.e. large boulders, enormous trees, etc. so that nothing was blasted away or cut down. Was practicing some night shots and this decorative pillar looked rather special. Tripod recommended.

Norwegian Sky

You don't find this type of sky in Malaysia. Taken with an iPhone camera. Simply amazing...

Open Close Colourful Flowers

This is a pretty special flower from a bunch that opens in the morning, closes in the evening, grows really fast and has different colours. Nice!

Sesame Street LIVE

Sesame Street was recently LIVE in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. Said to be better than Disney On Ice. :)
